A French silver medallion

A French silver medallion,

circular form, with a raised pediment and ring attachment, the front engraved with a female figure and with an inscription relating to the Town of Dunkirk and a Construction price awarded to M.F. Morel, the reverse with a knight, an armorial shield and an inscription, length 9.8cm, approx. weight 2.6oz.

Provenance: purchased from Phillips, New Bond Street, 2 October 1986.
