A late 18th / early 19th century gold-mounted moss agate snuff box,

unmarked, circa 1800,

rectangular form, canted corners, plain mounts the hinged cover with a slightly domed agate panel, the front engraved with a crest and inscribed 'From FMH to VH', length 7cm.
