A small collection of five regimental silver table forks,
various dates and makers,
comprising: one The Shropshire Militia, London 1798, one the 93rd (Highland) Regiment of Foot, and three forks, The 1st North Hampshire Militia, approx. weight 10.5oz. (5)

Provenance: A Private Collection of Military Silver.
The Shropshire Militia was raised in Shrewsbury in 1762. In 1797, the Regiment marched to Scotland becoming the first Englsih Militia Regiment to have been deployed across the Border.
