A 19th century French silver and niello work snuff box,
maker's mark worn, possibly J.B in a lozenge, circa 1840,
rectangular form, the hinged cover with a scene of five revellers in a landscape setting, with trailing foliate borders, the sides and base with geometric scroll decoration, length 8.5cm, approx. weight 3oz.
