A late-19th century German parcel-gilt silver nef,
with import marks for London 1893, importer's mark of Thomas Glaser,
the hull embossed with classical figures, and foliate scroll decoration, the rudder with a cherub and mythical dolphin, with an anchor and chain, on four pierced wheels, the deck mounted with various figures of sailors and cannons, and with a central tent canopy, with two masts in full sail and with crow's nests and rigging, the sails with engraved decoration, the top of the masts with flags, height 40.2cm, approx. weight 64oz.
