A Russian silver and plique-à-jour enamel double cup,
marked Mn, 88, circa 1890,
each cup of circular form, with dark blue, light blue, red, green and purple foliate decoration, some small losses near bases, rope-work borders, on raised circular bases with similar decoration and a white enamel bead border, the undersides with traces of gilding, height stacked 17cm, individual heights 8.6cm and 9cm.
