by James Young, London, 1777, also with a Dutch duty mark of 1807,

ovoid form, with two drop ring ram's head handles, with medallions and trailing ribbon-tied swags, beaded borders, and with a band of acanthus leaf decoration, with a ram's head spout, the handle with ivory insulators, domed pull-off cover, on a raised circular urn shaped stand on three hoof legs, with a burner, on a circular foot with acanthus leaf decoration and beaded borders, height 41.5cm, approx. weight 81oz.
