London 1910, also engraved 'OMAR RAMSDEN ET ALWYN CARR ME FECERUNT',

rectangular form, the hinged cover applied with the Prince of Wales Feathers and inscribed 'Presented to the Officers Mess P.W.O. Civil Service Rifles, By Surgeon Major T. H Dickson 1910', rope-work border, the front with a pierced foliate motif, with four tapering legs on bun feet, length 23.5cm.

The Prince of Wales' Own Civil Service Rifles was an infantry regiment of the Volunteer Force and Territorial Force of the British Army from 1798 to 1921; it saw active service in the Boer War and World War I as part of the London Regiment.
