A George III silver double-snuff box,
by Samuel Pemberton, Birmingham 1811,
oval rectangular form, the top hinged cover engraved with a man in a gig being pulled by two horses, with a secondary hinged section, the underside with diagonal decoration, gilded interior, length 6.9cm, approx. weight 2oz.
