A George III silver salver,

shaped circular form, with a shell and gadroon border, the centre with an armorial, on four fluted scroll feet, diameter 40.5cm, approx. weight 59oz.
The arms are that of Armitage (baronet) impaling Harbord for Sir George Armitage, 4th Baronet of Kirklees (1761-1836) and his wife Mary, nee Harbord (1762-1790).
