A George II silver salver,

circular form, moulded border, on four hoof feet, the centre engraved with an armorial within foliate scroll mantling, diameter 31.5cm, approx. weight 35.4oz.
The arms are that of Pinchbeck or Walcott impaling Dashwood: John Walcot of Walcot (1697-1765) MP married Mary Dashwood, daughter of Sir Francis Dashwood, 1st Baronet in 1732.
