A pair of late-Victorian electroplated graduated meat dish covers
A pair of late-Victorian electroplated graduated meat dish covers,
circa 1900,
oval domed form, part-fluted decoration, beaded handles and borders, engraved with two crests, lengths 50.5cm and 47cm, plus two electroplated entrée dishes and covers. (4)
The crests are those of Russell and Hamilton. The crests probably relate to a younger son of the 8th Viscount Boyne.
