large circular bowls, the Onslow pattern shape handles with foliate decoration, the reverse of the bowls with a crest, length 18.3cm, approx. weight 7.2oz. (2)

Provenance: Woolley and Wallis, Salisbury, How of Edinburgh sale, 30 October 2007, lot 206.

The crest is that of Baron Mount Edgcumbe: Richard Edgcumbe, 1st Baron Edgcumbe, (1680 - 1758), created 1742.
