oval basket form, with simulated wicker decoration, rope-work handles, gilded bowls, on oval rope-work bases, the underside with a crest, length 8.8cm, approx. weight 9.7oz. (2)

The crest is that of the Dukes of Ancaster, for Peregrine Bertie, 3rd Duke of Ancaster (1714-1778): General and Lord Great Chamberlain.
