λ An Edwardian silver and tortoiseshell-mounted desk calendar,
probably by Henry Matthews, Birmingham 1907,
rounded rectangular tortoiseshell back inlaid with a floral border and sphere switches to the sides, a compartment for celluloid month cards, a stamp box to the front, the cover engraved 'Stamps', on a loaded base, height 9.8cm.
