Two 19th century Dutch silver nutmeg graters,
one probably by Martinus Van Leeuwen, Amsterdam 1854,
egg form with fluted decoration, an engraved flower to the underside of the base, gilded interior and a pull-out steel grater, length 5.4cm, the other maker's mark worn, rounded rectangular form with engraved scroll decoration, hinged cover and base with a steel grater to the interior, length 5.1cm, approx. total weight 2.2oz. (2)
