A set of thirty Edwardian silver-gilt dessert plates,
by Catchpole and Williams, London 1905,
circular form, guilloche borders, engraved with the Sturt crest, diameter 23.8cm, approx. weight 520oz. (3).
Provenance: Crichel House, Dorset, sold by order of Braganza Investments Limited.
The crest is that of Humphrey Napier, 2nd Baron Alington, (1859-1919).
