circular form, chased foliate and rope-work borders, the hinged cover engraved with an armorial and inscribed 'SAMLL WHEATE FEB.8. 1736', the interior gilded, diameter 8.2cm, approx. weight 5.2oz.
The arms are those of the Wheate family.
