Sir Philip Sidney (1554-1586), statesman and poet, an engraved silver counter, from the same hand as the previous group, bust three-quarters right, hair swept back, wearing ruff collar, rev., a Tudor rose, SIR P SIDNEY, 23.5mm. Very fine and rare.
