Charles II, Restoration, oval silver badge, (?) by Thomas Rawlins, crowned bust right, with long hair, ornamental border, rev., incuse design, in imitation of engraving, shield of Royal arms within Garter, crown above dividing C R, striated field, 39 x 30mm (MI 444/19; Eim. 204; Platt II, p. 354), integral suspension loop. Good very fine, the gilding contemporary, cast, lightly chased and scarce.
