Charles II

Charles II, marriage to Catherine of Braganza, oval silver badge, 1662, crowned bust of Charles left, wearing robes, C - R crowned to either side, rev., draped bust of Catherine left wearing coronet, a crown before her, FVTVRI SPES, 23.5 x 20.5mm (MI 483/96; Eim. 225; Platt II, p. 354; Farquhar p.278). Good fine, but lacking suspension loop and obverse legend blurred.

The blurred obverse legend reads PACE TRIVMPHANS.
