Charles II and Catherine of Braganza

Charles II and Catherine of Braganza, marriage or complimentary silver medal, 1662, by John Roettier, heads of each to right, he laureate, signed R below truncation; she with love-lock falling to shoulder, 35mm (MI 489/110). Extremely fine, pleasant tone, though two slight edge bruises on obverse at 4-5 and 8 o'clock, rare.
