Catherine of Braganza, uniface silver portrait medallet, c. 1662, believed from a model by Abraham Simon, probably made for insertion into jewellery, her draped bust left, hair tied back in net and falling in ringlets, 15.5 x 14mm (MI 492/117, illus.). A delightful small portrait, very fine and extremely rare.
