A George III old Sheffield plated argyle,

unmarked circa 1790,

circular drum form, scroll handle, chased decoration, with an oval cartouche, pull-off cover with a ball finial, the water compartment with a hinged cover, with a crest, height 11.3cm.

The crest is that of Troubridge, Baronets of Plymouth, created in 1799.
