World War II, a Naval Group of five awarded to Chief Petty Officer Fred Kitching; 1939-45, Atlantic (with France and Germany clasp), and Africa Stars, War Medal; Imperial Service Medal, E II (1977); and Great War, British War Medal, to his father (26364 Pt. F. Kitching. D. of Corn. L.I.), the medals handsomely mounted and framed for display with photographs of the recipients; also with box and case of issue, dress ribbons, Chancery letter, certificates and ship photograph; together with Third Reich, 2nd Model Navy Dagger, maker Carl Eickhorn (stamped squirrel holding sword), off-white celluloid-over-wood grip with eagle/swastika pommel and fouled anchor crossguard, original (though frayed) aluminum portepee in correct reef knot tie, etched plated blade, brass lightning bolt pattern scabbard, in original uncleaned condition.
