A late 19th/early 20th century American dressing table box and cover, of squat cylindrical form decorated in low relief with ribbon-like scrolls, and initialled "MAG", maker's mark partially distorted, probably by the Whiting Manufactory Co c.1900, 3.6in (9cm) high, 7oz.
