The Great Exhibition, 1851, The Royal Commissioners Presentation Set of five copper medals, presented to Lieutenant-Colonel John Augustus Lloyd, F.R.S., comprising, The Council Medal, by W. Wyon, H. Bonnardell and J. F. Domard, 89mm; The Prize Medal, by W. and L. C. Wyon, 77mm; The Jurors Medal, by W. Wyon and G. G. Adams, 64mm; The "For Services" Medal, by W. Wyon, 48mm; and the Exhibitors Medal, by W. Wyon, 45mm, each medal named on the edge, contained in a red morocco book-type case, with gilt clasps, decorated with crowned V A monogram, and named on the silk interior of the cover (References: Brown. The medals good extremely fine and the case in choice condition, the surviving sets extremely rare.
