A George II silver two-handled cup and cover, by Edward Vincent, London 1737, the cover marked four times with maker's mark only, circular form, leaf capped scroll handles, central girdle, the pull-off cover of domed form with a knop finial, on a raised circular foot, engraved with a monogram and a crest, height 26oz, approx. weight 38oz. Provenance: purchased from Bonhams, London, 29 June 1993.
