An early 19th century Continental silver tea caddy

An early 19th century Continental silver tea caddy, marked to underside of base with two indistinguishable marks, one possibly BAS, circa 1800-1810, possibly Italian or Maltese, slight tapering oval form, engraved foliate borders and cartouche, hinged cover with a foliate finial, length 10.7cm, approx. weight 12.5oz.
