A George III silver tankard,
by Thomas Hayter, London 1806,
tapering circular form, leaf capped scroll handle, the hinged cover with a pierced thumb-piece, the body with an upper and lower band of reeded decoration, engraved with three garlands and inscribed ' KING and COUNTRY' , 'A TRIBUTE TO FRIENDSHIP' and engraved with a monogram, height 18.5cm, approx. weight 28oz.
