A late 19th century vesta case, of plain oblong form, with a panel of nephrite inset on one side and a black shiny hard stone on the other, unascribed 'from P.L.E.C.B and A.A.C to AFS, February 1896', stamped 'St silver', probably made in New Zealand c.1895, 1.8in (4.6cm).
