A small pomander in the form of a skull, with a pierced screw finial, undoing to allow the skull to hinge in half, revealing one compartment behind the eye holes, the posterior dividing into six sections perhaps for spice, unmarked, of undeterminate date, perhaps 17th century, 1.25in (3.25cm) high.
