maker's mark only, I.P, probably for James Phipps, London circa 1780,

scroll banner form, bright-cut borders, with a pierced pediment and engraved with a crest, incised 'CALCAVELLA', 'CLARET', 'SHERRY', 'PORT', 'MADEIRA', length 5.4cm. (5)

The crest is that recorded for Moseley of Saxmundham and for Kettridge of Lowestoft.
