France, Napoleon Bonaparte, Coronation Celebrations, 1804, copper medal, by N Brenet, conjoined busts of Napoleon and Josephine right, rev., the French eagle, laureate, edge plain, 35mm (Br 359; Julius 1297); other copper medals (2), Napoleon distributes the Légion d'Honneur at the Camp de Boulogne, by Jeuffroy and Jalley rev., plan of the encampment, 41mm (Br 318; Julius 1248); the Treaty of Pressbourg, 1809, by Andrieu and Brenet, 40.5mm (Br 844; Julius 2077); and a miniature silver medal for his Italian Coronation, 1810, by Jeuffroy and Denon, bust right, rev., Napoleon held aloft, 13.5mm. This last very fine, the copper all extremely fine and all original strikings. (4)
