An Islamic silver and niello-work snuff box,
apparently unmarked, possibly Turkish,
rectangular form, the hinged cover with foliate decoration and with a gilded half-moon and star gilded thumb-piece, the underside of the base with an inscription, length 10.8cm, approx. weight 5.6oz.
