A collection of four small silver wine labels, comprising: a Victorian label, by Rawlings and Summers, London 1856, reeded border, blackened 'GIN', a George III label, by Solomon Hougham, London 1809, rectangular form, incised 'CLARET', a George III label, by Matthew Linwood, Birmingham 1813, oblong form, gadroon border, incised 'WHISKEY' and a Victorian label, by George Unite, Birmingham 1861, oblong form, reeded border, incised 'WHISKEY'. (4) Provenance: Gin and Claret, purchased from Alcoholic Antiques 10th April and 5th June 1982. Whisky (1813) purchased from Gavina Ewart Antiques, Broadway, Worcs. 14th May 1983. Whisky (1861) purchased from R & M Nicholas, 31st December 1980.
