World War I, Trio, 1914-15 Star (11838 Pte. W. Chaplin. R. Berks. R.), War and Victory Medals, latter with Oak Leaf clasp for MiD, mounted and framed, medals extremely fine; Memorial Plaque (Oscar Walter Evans), extremely fine; and an unrelated W.W. I certificate for Mention in Dispatches. (lot) Evans, a Private, 2nd Class in the Royal Air Force, died after the Armistice on 27th December, 1918 and is buried in the Aldershot Military Cemetery.
