A George III silver heraldic wine label

A George III silver heraldic wine label, by Daniel Hockley, London 1814, shaped oval form, with trailing vine, scroll and shell decoration and with a leopard's head pediment, pierced 'MADEIRA' and engraved with a crest, length 6.3cm. ** The crest is that of a number of families including Baille, Bevil, Comberford, Dowie and Gordon. Provenance: purchased from Apollo Antiques, 30th July 1977.
