A pair of old Sheffield plated sauce tureens and covers, unmarked, circa 1820, rounded rectangular form, gadroon borders, engraved with a crest, the pull off covers with foliate scroll handles, length 18.5cm. (2) ** The crest is that of a number of families including Aysingcourt, Crayford, Sadler, Smyth and Wilmer.
