A Victorian presentation silver agricultural mug, by Edward Brown, London 1866, tapering circular form, engraved with flowers and stylised decoration, scroll handle, inscribed 'South Hams Agricultural Society the gift of B.J.P Bastard of Kitley Esq. to Mr Henry Ford of Halltorrs for the best crop of Mangold Wurzel 1867', height 13.5cm, approx. weight 10oz. ** Mangold Wurzel (beta Vulgaris) is a root vegetable that was developed in the 1700's for feeding livestock.
