A late-18th/early-19th century Dutch silver mustard pot,
maker's mark only SVM conjoined, probably for Pieter S. van Mecklenburg, Amsterdam circa 1800,
lobed baluster form, chased with winged cherub heads and scroll decoration, hinged cover with a foliate thumbpiece, on a shaped square foot, with a later blue glass liner, height 13.5cm, approx. weight 4.8oz.
