maker's mark worn, London 1845,
conventional form, with a foliate border, engraved with an armorial shield and inscribed 'York Archers Society, Established 1833, Lieutenant's Prize, first won by Mr John Wilson August 26 1845, and later inscribed ' W.W Hargrove Aug 1862', with two ring attachments, length 31cm, approx. weight 6oz.
