A George III Scottish silver tea pot,
by Lothian and Robertson, Edinburgh 1763,
inverted pear form, chased foliate scroll decoration, flush hinged cover with a flame finial, scroll handle with a carved leaf thumb-piece, shell capped spout, engraved with an armorial, on a circular foot, length handle to spout 26.5cm, approx. weight 19oz.
The arms are those of Caldwell impaling Charlewood, Smythe, Slater, and Alsworthy.
