A Victorian novelty silver and enamel pencil,

unmarked, circa 1880,

modelled as a Royal Mail pillar box, engraved with the VR cipher, the panel with 'Cleared at 7am and 8pm Sundays Excepted', on a black enamel background, with a ring attachment, length closed 5cm.
