plain vase form, scroll handles, on a raised circular foot, inscribed with a Crowned H, above 'From the Viceroy, January 1916, Delhi' and 'won by ''C'' Company Major A.J. Randell', also with the badge of the 1/4 Bn The Wiltshire Regiment, height 24.5cm, approx. weight 20.5oz.

The crowned H is for Charles Hardinge, 1st Baron Hardinge of Penshurst, who was Viceroy of India from 1910-16.
