shaped oval form, foliate scroll and shell borders, pierced 'MASDEU', length 6cm, plus a George IV silver wine label, of similar form, London 1822, pierced 'SHERRY', approx. weight 1.1oz. (2)

Masdeu is the name given to fortified wines of the Roussillon region of Southern France.
