rounded rectangular form, domed hinged cover with a fluted border, foliate handle and engraved with a crowned crest, screw-out detachable turned wooden handle, length 24.2cm, approx. weight 40oz.
The coronet and crest are those of Talbot, for Charles Chetwynd-Talbot, 2nd Earl Talbot.
