A George I silver tankard,
by Richard Bayley, over stamped with maker's mark S.A, London 1718,
tapering circular form, part-fluted decoration, scroll handle with a heart-shaped terminal, flat hinged cover with a scroll thumb-piece, part-fluted decoration, below a rope-work girdle, the front with a vacant oval cartouche within scroll mantling, height 17.5cm, approx. weight 21oz.
