A late-19th / early-20th century Indian silver covered jug,

maker's mark of VK, Cutch of Bombay, circa 1900,

tapering oval form, chased with animals and foliate scroll decoration on a matted background, stylised snake scroll handle, the hinged cover with an elephant finial, height 10.5cm, approx. weight 8.4oz.
