A pair of James II / William and Mary silver salt cellars,
marks worn, maker's mark RG, probably for Roger Grange, London probably 1686 or 1690,
circular trencher form, with a heavy rope-work border, and engraved with a crest, diameter of base 8.8cm, approx. weight 3.8oz. (2)
The crest is that of Atkinson, Kilner, Meade, Rossiter and other families.
